Busy Few Months

Since January things have been all go for the team and site. A member of the team Jamie Malone was elected to the Vice chair position on the IAA committee, a number of the team attended. Airsoft is still growing in the Waterford. There are new players every week to the site.

The team visited a number of sites over the past couple of months, Red barn, The Asylum & Hilltop, also we visited Kilkenny Airsoft range, where we took part in a competition against our friends The Panthers from Kilkenny, its was a great night and win, but of course its all about the doing and not the winning.

Whiskey Delta and Panther airsoft ran a charity game at the Manor in aid of chernobyl children. and raise over 1200 euro. There was a great turn out and great support, thanks to all those who donated a prize for the raffle.

Work is under way for more additions to the site and for some events over the summer.

Great Start To The Year
After recovering from the WD christmas night out and Christmas game, We are back at it again. New additions to the site, and surprised to see so many players on site January. Our own Jamie Malone has been nominated for the position of Vice Chairperson on the IAA.

WD on Tour
Over the next few months the team will be visiting a number of sites around the country. First on the list was our old friends down at The Asylum in Wexford, We took a trip to Kilkenny Airsoft shooting range. which has become a focal point for teams in the kilkenny area. Some of the team went to a new site in Limerick called Urban Ops. A excellent indoor site. The team is planning a visit in force there very soon. The latest trip was to red barn, and its very easy to see
why it is know as one of the best sites in Ireland.

Excellent Summer @ The Manor Airsoft Site
The summer has seen a lot of additions to the site, and new members to the team. The site has had two weekend events, which saw teams from around the country attending. there is plenty more to come. we will keep the weekly games going and a few events in there too. Also the min age for the site has been changed to 12 years. And the price for a full day is now €10 until further notice. this is due to a great summer and as we run the site as non profit.

"INVASION" @ The Manor Airsoft Site
The Big Summer event Was a great success, with a large attendance and team and players from all over Ireland. 24 hrs of Airsoft and Craic at the Manor game went on in to the early morning. Big thank you too all that attended. Plenty more to come. Cop Story 2 at the Gate Theatre
The end of last year saw Whiskey Delta taking part in filming with AClique Productions based in Cork. The team played a major part and as the director said "The Teams scenes are the strongest part of the film". The premiere of Cop story 2 "Dance Story" will be shown in the Gate Theatre in Cork on the 20th March, 2011 @ 11:30

St Patrick's Day Parade Waterford
The Team will be in this years St. Patrick's Day Parade in Waterford City. Come along show your support for Waterford's Airsoft Team.

Whiskey Delta Radio
Over the past few weeks the team has been working on the idea of setting up a Airsoft Radio Station. The testing has been done and it is now up and running. Any Site or Shop Owners can contact us if they was us to mention them. We not only broadcast Airsoft News / Events , but also Movie and Game News, Q&A, Equipment info and also some great music. Whiskey Delta "The Team" Film
We started work on this late last year and while its nearing the end of filming, couple of weeks of editing, the film will be ready for viewing. This film is made entirely by the Team including all Filming and Editing work, Script and Effects. More News on this soon

Work In Progress
Currently the Team is working on a new Site in the Waterford area, more News on this in late March. Also preparations are underway for a number of Shows which the Team will be attending. There are approximately 8 major events, to date, that we are invited to be involved with.
